Disciples Sharing God’s light in our Community

The Eden Group meets for traditional bible study and fellowship on the first Monday of the month. At present the group is all ladies but this has not always been the case and everybody is most welcome. The group explore different life topics rising from bible passages following study guides. This format allows everybody to explore the bible in a very easy fashion whether they are familiar with the passages or not.

Many were very apprehensive about Bible study before coming along but have found a real pleasure in studying and learning by the sharing of ideas. The group is friendly and caring and also has occasional outings and meals together. If you’re interested in joining the group or want to discuss the possibility of a new group please contact us.

Church members organise several gatherings for coffee, tea and chat. A way of meeting others and keeping in touch with what’s going on.

The Monday Club

ON Mondays from 2pm till 4pm a chance to meet up and chat, play games like dominoes, Scrabble, drafts etc. or bring your knitting or other hobby and be part of the group. Tea and home bakes served. Carers especially welcome.

Kettle Coffee morning

Every Thursday from 9.30am till 11.30am in Kettle Church Hall. People come from all over the parish and beyond and keep up long-standing friendships. Occasionally we organise outings and special events. Quizzes always go down well. Profits are shared between Howe of Fife Parish Church and Friends of Kettle Church.

The Maltings, Ladybank

On Tuesday afternoons from 2.30pm till 3.30pm in the lounge at The Maltings Sheltered Housing. The group is mainly for residents at The Maltings, but anyone is welcome to join us.

Social Groups

As well as opportunities for worship we have a few regular groups which meet as part of our church life…

Other occasional groups meet such as Lent bible study groups, discipleship groups and other special groups through the year - see our Facebook page for details.

A small number of community groups use our halls - Brownies in Kettle and the Ladybank Forest Users Group in Ladybank. We’re open to more groups using our halls and happy to hear from you if you would like to hire the hall - see our contact page.
